A visitor can choose a scooter and dates on your website. Your team can see the reservation, customer details and availability in one workspace. RentalHalo connects those two parts of a shop-based rental business.
Present your scooters or mopeds with their real photos, rates and rental information. Customers check dates, choose supported pickup or delivery options, and review the quote before paying the separate Booking Guarantee. Your business remains responsible for the vehicle and the rental.
This is a fit for a shop that hands vehicles to customers and needs a direct booking website. Dockless unlocking, vehicle telemetry and an automated WhatsApp inbox are different requirements; they are not included in this workflow.
Illustrative example: a shop has three scooters of the same model. Two are already reserved for an overlapping period. One remains available, provided it is active and there are no other holds or blocks. If the third leaves on a walk-in rental, record that rental or block the matching availability before accepting another booking.
The website checks inventory against the requested dates and times. Keeping model quantities, maintenance blocks and off-platform rentals current is still an operator responsibility. A message in another app does not update your stock automatically.
Customers review their rental quote and contact details before checkout. Inventory can be held temporarily during payment. An unpaid attempt is not a confirmed reservation; confirmation follows verified payment. Your team can then use the booking details to arrange the handover and collect the rental balance.
Set realistic rental hours and use your location’s timezone when checking pickups, returns and blocked periods. Review availability at opening time and after any phone, WhatsApp or counter booking.
Customers pay RentalHalo a separate 10% Booking Guarantee, subject to a currency minimum on low-value bookings. They still pay your business the full rental charge. The fee is not your security deposit, is not deducted from your balance, and is not insurance.
Site preparation is free for you to review. Discuss ongoing service, support and domain requirements before launch; preparation alone does not establish that every future service is free.
