Terms of Service

RentalHalo provides booking websites and operational tools for independent rental businesses. These terms explain how the platform and rental service fit together.

Your booking and the rental business

The rental business supplies the vehicle and is responsible for its condition, availability, handover, rental agreement and service. Review its licence, age, deposit, insurance, pickup, delivery and cancellation requirements before booking. RentalHalo is not the vehicle’s owner or the rental operator.

Online reservations and payments

A checkout creates a temporary inventory hold. A reservation is confirmed only after payment is verified; closing the payment window or reaching a return page alone does not confirm a booking. Some payments require review before the rental can proceed.

RentalHalo collects a Booking Guarantee equal to 10% of the quoted rental value, subject to a currency minimum on low-value bookings and rounded in the booking currency. The full rental amount is payable separately to the business. The fee is not a rental deposit, insurance premium or payment transferred automatically to the operator. Changes, cancellations and refunds

Contact the rental business about trip changes and cancellation. Availability and prices may change when dates or vehicles change. An operator amendment can revise the rental value while retaining the original RentalHalo fee. Neither an amendment nor cancellation automatically charges or refunds that fee. Business and customer responsibilities

Businesses must publish accurate inventory, pricing, requirements and policies, honor confirmed reservations or promptly contact affected customers, protect customer information and keep team access current. Customers must provide accurate details, satisfy the business’s licence, age, deposit and insurance requirements, and follow its rental terms.

Acceptable use

Do not publish misleading offers or reviews, upload content you lack permission to use, access another business’s data, interfere with the service, or misuse customers’ information. RentalHalo may pause booking access while operational or security issues are resolved.

Support and disputes

Start with the rental business for vehicle, handover and rental-service concerns. Contact support@rentalhalo.com for platform or guarantee-fee concerns. We will try to resolve complaints fairly before formal proceedings. These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without limiting mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.

Contracting party

The platform is provided by EVS Global Holdings Inc., 777 Hornby St, Suite 600, Vancouver, BC V6Z 1S4. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
