Every vehicle has its own price. The price you set is the price the customer is shown and the price they agree to pay you.
Where prices are managed
- Open Fleet in your dashboard.
- Choose the vehicle you want to change.
- Enter the price for renting it for one day.
- Save.
Prices are always in your own currency. You set it once in your business settings and every price follows it.
How customers see the price
When a customer chooses their dates, RentalHalo works out the total for those days and shows it before they book. If you offer a longer-rental discount, or charge for delivery or extras, those are shown in the total too.
A price change applies to new bookings from that moment. A booking that a customer already made keeps the price they agreed. This is on purpose, so nobody is charged a price they never saw.
Check prices RentalHalo set up for you
If RentalHalo built your website for you, your vehicles may already have example prices so the website was not empty. These are a starting point, not your real prices.
- Open Fleet.
- Go through every vehicle, one by one.
- Change each price to what you really charge.
- Save each one.
Before you make your website live
Confirm every price is real, including vehicles you rent rarely. A wrong price on a live website is a booking you have to apologise for. See Make your website live.
A customer was shown the wrong price
Check the vehicle's price in Fleet first. If the price there is right but the customer saw something else, see Troubleshooting.
