Privacy Policy

This policy explains the information RentalHalo processes to support business accounts, websites and reservations.

Information we use

• Account email, authentication, memberships and invitations.
• Business profiles, contacts, locations, fleet, prices and policies.
• Customer names, emails, phone numbers, rental dates, vehicle choices, delivery details and booking notes.
• Payment references, amounts, currency, status and refund records. Card details are entered in Stripe’s payment form; RentalHalo does not store full card numbers.
• Notification delivery, security and operational activity.
• Business website requests and their contact details, referral or campaign labels, product interests and the public marketing page where the current browsing journey began. We use these to respond to requests and understand how businesses find RentalHalo. This attribution does not include private reservation URLs or full search referrer addresses.

Why we use it

We use this information to authenticate accounts, restrict tenant access, reserve inventory, process the RentalHalo fee, communicate booking changes, provide support, prevent abuse and improve reliability.

Who receives it

The relevant rental business can access its customers and bookings. Authorized RentalHalo staff can operate and support the platform. Supabase provides authentication, database and file storage; Stripe processes payments; Vercel hosts the application; and Resend delivers email. Connected services receive data only when enabled for a business.

Published and private information

A live website displays information its authorized business team publishes. Draft storefronts require preview access. Preview and reservation links grant limited access, so share them only as intended.

Retention and security

We retain records as needed to provide the service, support disputes, prevent fraud, maintain security and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. Periods vary by record and jurisdiction. Records are deleted or de-identified when no longer required, and backups expire on their protected retention cycle. Access controls and encrypted connections help protect data; no system can promise absolute security.

Your requests

For rental-service information, contact the business. For access, correction or deletion requests, email support@rentalhalo.com. Include enough account or booking detail to locate the record, but never send card details. We may verify identity and retain information where law or a live dispute requires it. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing or complain to a regulator.

International processing and contact

Providers may process information outside your country. We use required contractual or other safeguards where applicable. RentalHalo’s platform data contact is EVS Global Holdings Inc., 777 Hornby St, Suite 600, Vancouver, BC V6Z 1S4. Privacy requests: support@rentalhalo.com.
